The packaging will be shipped directly to the departure location – all you need to do is place your artwork inside, seal the box, and schedule the pickup.

Professional art handlers will come to the pickup location, carefully collect your artwork, and transport it to our facility. There, we take precise measurements, build a custom-fit packaging solution, and expertly pack your artwork for safe shipping.
With this service, you don’t have to worry about anything – we handle everything from pickup to final preparation.
Currently, the White Glove Pickup Service is available in select locations across Germany, France, and Switzerland, including Basel, Geneva, Zurich, Paris, Berlin, Cologne/Düsseldorf, and Munich.
When should you opt for custom artwork packaging?
Some artworks require specific packaging to prevent any risk of damage. Custom artwork packaging is recommended in the following cases:
- Large-scale artworks
- Heavy objects
- Particularly fragile or shock-sensitive artworks
Our standard packaging solutions can accommodate artworks up to 180 x 150 x 25 cm and a maximum weight of 35 kg. For artworks exceeding these dimensions (up to 200 cm) or weight, we offer customized packaging solutions upon request, as they require special handling.
Beyond these limits, artworks should be transported by a traditional art logistics company, using custom-made wooden crates. We recommend these crates especially for fragile objects such as glass, ceramics, porcelain, etc.
For artworks that are sensitive to their environment (e.g., temperature or humidity fluctuations), we recommend climate-controlled crates. These are provided by traditional art logistics companies and offer the ideal protection for delicate items.

What if my object is already packed?
If your artwork is already packed in your own packaging, you can still book shipping with us. However, please note that insurance coverage is only available when using our custom Moviiu packaging, which is specifically designed for secure transport with courier services.
If you choose to ship your artwork in your own packaging, simply select “Own Packaging” during the booking process. Once your order is confirmed, you’ll receive a shipping label, which you can print and attach to your package. You can then schedule the pickup via the link provided or directly through your personal Moviiu account.
