Moviiu offers two easy ways to obtain a quote for an art transport:

Simply enter details such as the pickup address, destination, item dimensions, and weight, and you’ll receive a transparent, immediate cost estimate.

Moviiu’s quotes are comprehensive, covering all key aspects of your shipment. Any quote generated on our digital platform includes transportation from the pick-up location to the final destination, transport handling, customs formalities, and tracking services.

Please note that customs duties for cross-border shipments (outside Switzerland or the EU) are not included in the transportation price. Taxes and import duties will be charged separately by our transport partners before delivery to the destination.

While Moviiu’s quoted prices cover transport services, certain charges are not included:

1. Customs Duties and International VAT
For shipments crossing borders outside the EU or Switzerland, customs duties, local taxes, or VAT in the destination country may apply. These charges are determined by local regulations and are not included in the initial price.

These fees are typically charged before delivery by our transportation partners directly to the recipient. The shipment will only be delivered once the import fees have been paid.

2. DAT (Delivered At Terminal) Delivery
In some countries, local legislation requires DAT delivery. This means the shipment stops at the destination terminal, and customs clearance as well as final delivery must be arranged by a local agent or the recipient. In such cases, the quoted price is adjusted accordingly and will clearly specify these terms.

The transport price is determined based on the following key information:

• Pick-up and delivery addresses
• Dimensions of the artwork

Once this information is provided, our intelligent quoting system compares rates from our three partner carriers to ensure you receive the best price.

Additional charges may apply if you select optional services, such as:

• Secure Moviiu transport packaging
• Insurance
• White-Glove pickup
• White-Glove delivery
• Temporary shipments

These additional costs are itemized in the detailed offer, giving you a transparent overview of what is included.

The quoted price includes transport from the pick-up location to the final destination, as well as any additional services you select. However, Moviiu may need to adjust the price in the following cases:

• Incorrect dimensions, weight, or declared value provided when confirming the quote.
• Incorrect pick-up or delivery address.
• Any changes made after the quote is confirmed and payment is processed that affect the order.

To ensure the fastest delivery times, Moviiu will initiate the production and shipment of your packaging as soon as the payment is received. It’s important for customers to provide accurate information during the quoting process, as any discrepancies may impact the shipment process and the final cost.

Please note that VAT and customs duties are separate from the transport payment and must be paid independently.
