At Moviiu, our mission is to simplify the shipping of artworks – both for experienced art professionals and private collectors. That’s why our standard shipping solution is easy and flexible: based on the artwork details you provide, we send a tailor-made transport box directly to your address. All you need to do is place the artwork inside, seal the packaging with the adhesive strips, and use a link to schedule a pickup with our logistics partners FedEx, UPS, or DHL Express at your preferred time.

However, in certain situations – whether due to time constraints, practical reasons, or simply personal preference – it may be more convenient not to handle the packaging and pickup yourself. For exactly these cases, we’ve developed an additional service: the “White-Glove” collection.

How Does the “White-Glove” Collection Work?

Our White-Glove service includes the collection of the artwork by professional art handlers directly from your location – without any packaging effort on your part. We currently offer this service in Paris, France, in collaboration with our sister company Chenue, renowned nationwide for its expertise in art handling and transportation.

You can select the “White-Glove” option in step 3 of the quote process on our platform, under “Additional Services.” Once this option is activated, the Moviiu team contacts the sender to coordinate a suitable pickup time and schedules the collection with our partner Chenue. The artwork is professionally soft-packed on-site and transported to our storage facility, where it is prepared for shipping. Pickup typically takes place within 4 to 5 business days – or sooner, depending on availability.

Once the artwork arrives at the warehouse, our team measures it to create a custom Moviiu transport box. Our art handlers then carefully pack the piece and manage the shipping. As soon as the artwork is dispatched via FedEx, UPS, or DHL Express, both sender and recipient receive a notification with the tracking number.

This process ensures professional handling and a smooth, hassle-free transport experience – with no effort required on your part.

Professional Artwork Collection in Paris

In France, this service is currently available exclusively in Paris and, in exceptional cases, in selected areas of the Parisian suburbs. It is already trusted by leading auction houses such as Sotheby’s, Bonhams, and Millon, as well as by numerous galleries and private collectors.

The “White-Glove” service integrates seamlessly into their daily operations, saving valuable time, reducing handling effort, and providing full logistical support from the moment of pickup – for an additional fee of around €150, depending on the nature of the shipment.

In Which Cities Is the “White-Glove” Service Available?

Currently, the White-Glove service is only available in Paris, but a gradual rollout to other cities in France is already planned.

Beyond France, the premium service is already available in selected cities in Switzerland and Germany – including Geneva, Lausanne, Berlin, Cologne, Düsseldorf, and Munich.
